Catherine and her family are caught in a sudden storm and take shelter in a deserted barn. The barn seems strangely familiar although they have never been there before. As the daylight fades, Catherine senses the secrets of the surrounding hills from another older time. It is a time of great danger for the children as they are pulled back to the age of the Plague and they must fight to survive.
