Yertle the turtle, King of the turtles in Salamond pond, decides his kingdom is too small. He orders the turtles to stand on each others backs, to build himself a new throne. Perched on this he can see more and rule as a more powerful king. Also includes two other humorous stories in rhyme. Suggested level: junior, primary
